Description

Add changes associated with v4.0 to the default branch.

Changes

Review the draftlogs folder for info about what has changed.

Testing

CI should cover us since we've been relying on that in the v4.0 branch.

Notes

  • We're going to be changing the name of the default branch from master to main in an upcoming PR
